Savon Noir Beldi

Inspired by traditional Moroccan Beldi soap, the Showalux Savon Noir Beldi soaps have been created so you can experience the luxurious cleansing and nourishing properties of Beldi. 

The unique formula used to create the Original Beldi soap includes extra virgin olive oil, and fresh black olives to create a smooth moisturising gel that offers a gentle rich lather.

Showalux also offers 2 other options, that include the original recipe with some skin loving extras.

Beldi with Chamomile, Turmeric and Honey - made with the addition of Rosehip and Jojoba oils. Scented lightly with Sweet orange essential oil

Beldi with Irish Sea Moss and Seaweed - made with the addition of Avocado oil and scented with Lemongrass essential oil.

 About Beldi

Traditionally, Beldi soap is made to be used in Moroccan bath establishments known as Hammams. Regular visits to the Hammam is an important part of life in Morocco and Beldi soap is an important part of the Hammam bathing ritual. 

Beldi soap is applied all over damp skin (avoiding the area around the eyes). The soap works as a cleansing masque.  It is left on the skin for up to ten minutes and is then rinsed off. While still wet, the skin is vigorously scrubbed all over with a Kessa, a wash mitt made from coarse fabric. The skin is exfoliated and left feeling invigorated and super smooth.
